CLAUDIA BRAND

Visual artist and director Claudia Brand works across screens, spaces, and canvases, in a cross-disciplinary approach that combines her curiosities about people and places, and her experience growing up Indian Australian. Working closely with her talent, Claudia’s practice is crafted through the capture of their raw expressions. Her practice has expanded into the use of Unreal Engine, where Claudia has used the world-building software to explore the spectacle and wonder of the natural world. Claudia created the 3D worlds in Rufus Du Sol’s Alive, which won Best Dance Record at the Grammys, and her directing work has recently featured on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
